Child safety standards
Last updated 16 October 2026
Pluoto has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). That includes child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, and anything that sexualises a child or puts one at risk.
How Pluoto is built to keep children safe
- Pluoto is for people 13 and older, who agree to our house rules and terms before they can make an account.
- You only see people you’ve chosen to be friends with. There are no strangers, public profiles or direct messages.
- Bubbles and nicknames are short text only, with no photos or videos, and pass through a word filter.
- Anyone can block a friend at any time, and blocked people can’t find you again.
How to report
- In the app: tap the person, then … → Report, and choose Puts a child at risk. You can report a bubble or a profile.
- By email: write to pluoto@mightwork.co with the person’s name in Pluoto and what happened.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call the police first. In Singapore, call 999.
What we do with a report
- A person reviews every report. Child safety reports go to the top and are never closed without action.
- We remove the content, close the account and ban the email it signed up with.
- We keep the evidence securely and report it to the Singapore Police Force and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we work with law enforcement.
Laws
We comply with the child safety laws of the places Pluoto is available, starting with Singapore.
